Were Did My Faith Go
This shoot wasn't that easy to put together, but then again is any shoot? So after many email's with the designer Joyce from Lucid I finally managed to pick up the clothes from her PR. Once I had them hanging on my rack at home that's when I started to nail down the concept for my second brand profile for LaMode magazine. I didn't want it to be to urban looking and I also wanted to incorporate the Spring colours that were still lingering around as well.
Lucid latest collection is well cut and has a semi tailored look to it which I like. And for these of you who want to know who styled it .......Your's truly did. I am not really one to style a shoot myself as I think two minds are better than one but to have full creative control is always good not to mention casting the model as well was a easy choice. Speaking of models Valentina was again a dream to work with as I had worked with her a few weeks before on a swim shoot. Working with a model who knows her angels and also know's how to move makes any photographers job easy, but you can never forget the photographers job of directing the model, to get them to do what you want and that comes from........ As mentioned by having a strong concept and idea in your head.
Moving on....... this is going to be LaMode's last fashion/swim editorial this year. My very last editorial will be a culture story which you will have to wait till next week to find out what it is. I hope you have enjoyed all my editorial's so far and you come back for more next year too follow the journey of LaMode Magazine.........I will leave you with my qoute of the week......."Never loser Faith"
