Surry Hills

The Over Achiever 

A bit of a funny editorial this one.......And yes has you can see it's another Culture post. This time it's on Surry Hills, I lived in the area for around 8 years. And have seen so many changes in this part of Sydney (Yes I will be getting out of Sydney soon to document another part of the world) But I found it so interesting to see how it has changed so much in the time I have lived there and the time I have been away e.g so many cafes and bars have opened up and a lot have closed down too. The people seem to have changed a bit, not as arty as they were once before. But a little bit more refined to say the least. 

I spent the afternoon walking around my old stomping ground snapping what I could when I could. Focusing on quality not quantity as most decent photographers would. And walked away feeling pretty happy with my efforts. I would have to say that if I walked around Surry Hills last week or next week I am sure I would get something completely different to what I have here.

Never think you can under Achieve when you can Over Achieve.
