The Long WalkI think Pyrmont a suburb located down on the harbour of Sydney is fast growing into a mini version of Manhattan with the amount of construction going on around it, it may soon to turn out to be like that. But at the same time it is keeping it identity as a part of the city with a beautiful harbour and it's surroundings.
You may ask why I shoot about 90 percent of my culture shoots in black and white and the answer to that is I love to create a mood with these editorials when I shoot for LaMode. This one is more about the architecture and how Sydney has combined the buildings and it's harbour to blend it into one and mould it into a peaceful yet some what striking part of the city. There seems to be a lot of aged board walks mapped out around Pyrmont creating clean lines around the buildings, throw in some stainless steel and you have a surreal part of the city that if you ever needed to get away from the noise the city but didn't want to travel to far "The Long Walk" would never be to much for anyone person. |
