There is always light at the end of the tunnel no matter how bad the situation you maybe in. I am writing this from the point of view of being in lockdown for close to two and a half months. And knowing that I will be able to live with more freedom in what should be in about 5-6 weeks.
Whilst I have been in lockdown. LaMode magazine has been working hard to re-cut and recreate new videos from old editorials. We love the fact that if you work in the creative industry everyone has a different point of view.
Which can be good if you all have the same view on the same subject you may be working on. But when you are working hard to re-cut a video to make it look better it can lead to a few creative differences. Which leads me on to write about how this lockdown has affected the many millions of people who can’t and won’t be able to do anything like get a haircut for another 5-6 weeks.
We say point of view because, the whole of the greater Sydney area is in lockdown, but not everyone has the same rules. There are curfews, and tighter restrictions out in the Western Suburb’s than there are anywhere else. So from the point of the New South Wales premiere, she is dividing the greater Sydney area into two area’s so the virus cannot escape and, create more trouble for the area’s that haven’t been hit so hard. Which, LaMode magazine can relate too. A video should have a narrative, and when that narrative plays out you have an ending, which is a little bit like what this Pandemic is like to live with at the moment. Even though we are still very much in the middle of it.
What has happen over the last 20 months with this pandemic, has been life changing, which is again a little bit like what happens when you watch a movie or a video that has emotion and a moving ending to it.
LaMode is a global online magazine in a blog-style format, or what I would like to call a onlineZine. With a focus on Fashion, Swimwear and Culture editorials. LaMode Magazine is not seasonal with its editorials because we like to shoot imagery that is on point to what we think will entertain you as the reader from our point of view.
