Summer is finally here and by the look's of things it's going to be super hot this year in Australia. Which for me personally is good because I love it when it is hot.

So to kick off the 90 days of Summer here at LaMode magazine we have shot this very special editorial for your viewing pleasure. The brief for this editorial was to make it more edgy and fashion, even though it is swimwear. I cast the amazing Wanessa Back from Chadwick models ........and shot it with the location (Shark beach) and light in mind rather than the model. Not to mention with one of my favourite lux swim bands "Duskii" supplying  the swim/activewear you have the makings of  a very memorable editorial ......"Summer Love"

I wish everyone a happy Summer. And remember stay save in the water, and not to mention put lots of sun block on!!!!

Model-Waness Back from Chadwick models 

I Love the fact that our Summer here in Australia is only a few weeks away. And I thought the best way of easing the LaMode readers into it was to do a swim shoot with the ever amazing Meaghan Lee from Chadwicks. And not to mention it's not a swimwear shoot without swimwear which by the way was loaned from Allerton one of the amazing brands that I stock at LaMode Swim Shop.

The idea behind this editorial was to embrace the female form and to shoot on a beach that I haven't shot on before which was a little hidden beach on the Northern beaches called Cliffton Gardens. It's a amazing little beach with the finest of sand that seems to get everywhere, not to mention all over my camera when I was shooting. But as you will see, the finals looking amazing .......I decided to mix in some black and white shots as the swimwear is more athletic and very well cut. Meaghan was great to work with as was the swimwear .....so watch out for more swimwear editorials over the Summer.
