The French Connection
Not really one to shy away from who I am working with and why a certain editorial will come to life. What I am really talking about is when I cast a model for a shoot it is because.
A/I like them.
B/They will fit the concept and idea that I have for LaMode.
If you still haven't picked up what I am talking about. Think clear water, a beautiful beach and one amazing team and you have "The French Way". And not to forget the swimwear by Mijanou (who is based in Queensland) Her amazing swimwear had alot to do with making this story come alive..........I am talking about the model Pauline. All the way from Paris!!! to be with us here in sunny Australia.
Thank you all again for checking out this editorial for LaMode. Don't worry there are a few more swim editorials in the works. Plus I have just started working on a very secret project that will be connected to LaMode Magazine........Watch this space.

The Brightest Star
Had the plesure of working with the amazing Karina from Viviens, the winner of the there modeling competition that they held a few months back. When I first got sent her digitals the words "wow" and amazing first came to mind then. I emailed her booker back and said I have to shoot this model for LaMode magazine. And has you can see in this swim editorial you will see why I wanted to work with the amazing Karina. Hailing from Kazakhstan, this beauty is set to take not only Australia by storm but the world. Don't be at all surprised if you see Karina pop up on the pages of LaMode magazine in the not to distant future as this model is going to be one of the Brigtest's Stars of the modeling world.

So after a brief break from shooting at the park we are back to the beach looking sexy and slender with the amazing Brie Turton as my model and Redleaf beach as the location, what more could I asked for. What could go wrong?
I always think that to make a swim shoot a successful one you need.
1/ And amazing model that can pull off the swimwear that you are shooting.
2/ A strong concept that will not only engage the reader but stop them in there tracks and then get them to look at the story.
3/A location that will bring the first two together.......who goes to the beach and wears a t-shirt and jeans anyway.
This shoot was a lot of fun........as you can see it is the second part of "Break Away" and we shot this down at the beach after Brie insisted that I take all the remaining swimwear that we hadn't shot and create this editorial. Not that I needed my arm to be twisted??? Expect more sand, sea, amazing models and swimwear in the coming weeks.

This is the 3rd swimwear editorial for laMode Magazine from the last four weeks and with Summer fast approaching you can count on it that I will be shooting a few more before the year is out!! I thought with this editorial I would shoot a different theme from the last two story's of sand, sea and surf and shoot at the park, well just above Redleaf Beach was the exact location. Which is a bit of a give away to the following swim editorial for next week. Something a little bit different from what you would normally see in LaMode magazine. But hey change is always good??? So the next time you want to do something different........ just "Break Away"
LaMode magazine is a cross between a blog and a magazine.
